Located in Palmas center, near Toscane bar. No terrace.
The bar is visited by a mixed clientele.
Our vote: In this restaurant you can select a wine at the store and have it cooled and served at your table.
You will pay 30% on top of the bottle price for this service. What we also liked: the pasta is good. You can invite your Italian friends here. Highly recommended.

Adelaide Bistrô
Lunch and dinner restaurant à la carte. On the menu we find some classic European dishes. Good wines, homemade desserts, and cigars.
It is located in a bungalow, just outside the commercial center, and might be difficult to find.
The clientele are upperclass people and politicians who want privacy, and maybe want to hear the latest political gossips from Valdemir, the owner.
Our vote: The pleasant location with swimming pool goes very well with the home-style food and the informal attendance. You would expect a moderate price, but unfortunatedly the price is insultingly high.

This large restaurant offers tables inside with airconditioning or outside on the terrace.
Mixed clientele.
Our vote: The place is not very cosy because of the open space, neither inside or on the terrace. Service is good. Delicious Moqueca with shrimps. Recommended.

People working in Palmas center come here for a lunch, and families come here at night for a pizza.
Our vote: This is a professionally run restaurant with lots of choice at the buffet. Good service. We think the canteen style is not suitable for a pleasant dinner and we would like to have our pizza in a cosier ambiance. Recommended for lunch.

Lunch and dinner restaurant specialised in grilled meat. No wines, no desserts.
A semi-open space with a rustic architecture.
Mixed clientele, mainly business and office people.
Our vote: This place is so popular that we have tried it very often. Apparently the clientele is here for the Carne Seca, a local beef. The carne seca here is very soft and tasteful. Unfortunately all side dishes are very poor. Ambiance and service are okay.

People working in Palmas center come here for a lunch, and families come here at night for a pizza.
Our vote: Pleasant ambiance for a lunch canteen, but we think it is not suitable for a pleasant dinner and we would like to have our pizza in a cosier ambiance. Buffet is not fine and the pizza’s didn’t impress either.

Located in a side street right of Toscane bar. A semi-open space with a rustic architecture.
Frequented by couples and families.
Our vote: The large restaurant is always quiet. The main business is the pizza express. The place is nice and clean, the attendance correct and customers can say how they want their pizza. As we like the Italian type of pizza, this is our favorite pizzeria in Palmas. Recommended.

Dinner restaurant specialised in Japanese food. Very large menu, including mediterranean dishes. Mainly fish and sea fruit.
Located in square 21 in Palmas center. The restaurant has a large terrace that has been devided in several corners. On some nights expect to have live music.
Clientele consists mainly of groups of young couples.
Our vote: Very fine cuisine. We were very well attended. Great drinks. The terrace was kept cool even during the hot september month! Highly recommended.

Soups and skewers with sidedishes only. Feijoada on Saturday afternoon.
Our vote: The food here is simple and typical, but as one of the owners is a European chef, the ingredients are the best and the food is tasty and fine. Ambiance is simple but clean. Worth the drive. Recommended.
