Pedro Afonso is an ancient city from the beginning of the century. It preserves in its architecture an interesting part of the State History. Its native beauties are even more interesting: The Rio do Sono Beach, the Ribeirão Góis and the Poção do Ribeirão are natural sculptures. Pedro Afonso is also the PRODECER head-office (Programa de Desenvolvimento do Cerrado/ Scrub’s Development Programm), which main purpose is the soybean culture.
